Last Monday in honor of Halloween we had a fall feast. Butternut squash soup, Curried potatoes and peas (divine!) and crusty brown butter bread. I made a lot of food (per usual) and it was lucky because we had visitors stop by and then we really had a feast! :)

Recipe: The brown butter (yum!) bread was delicious and totally perfect for “Fall” with it’s crusty outside and thick and dense inside. I found the recipe here.

Changes: No changes. Perfect as is!

Verdict: Delicious. This a perfect, thick, soup bread. It’s a quick bread so it’s takes relatively little time to prepare and bake. The recipe makes two smallish, round loaves and they keep well. Just wrap in saran wrap. I will definitely make this again.
